Fresco – The stamp is based on a detail from a fresco painted by the Italian artist Massimo Campigli, who was born in Florence in 1895. The fresco shows the Palais des Nations, the home of the United Nations Postal Administration Geneva office, under construction. A group of architects can be seen in the foreground, while workers busy with the construction are to the side. In the background appears the plan of the building.
