UNPA in cooperation with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and the China Disabled Persons’ Federation (CDPF) will issue a Custom Stamp Sheet to highlight initiatives and programmes which promote inclusive and equal access for people with disabilities. This custom stamp sheet will be unveiled on 27 September 2015 as part of the United Nations Summit to adopt the post-2015 development agenda. The sheet is comprised of ten US$ 1.20 denominated stamps with the UN 70th Anniversary logo. The tabs of the sheet feature Chinese words representing Perseverance, Bravery, Staunchness, Self-respect, Inclusiveness, Unyieldingness, Magnanimity, Fearlessness, Lofty Aspiration, and Equality. The background of the sheet features a symbol of disability surrounded by iris flowers, which represent hope, wisdom, and courage. The sheet was designed by Rorie Katz (United Nations).
